PFMHO facilitates groups of museum professionals with similar interests who gather informally throughout the state from time-to-time throughout the year. Participants discuss issues of mutual interest, learn from each other, and share ideas with the notion that collegiality moves the entire field forward.
APACHS, the Alliance for Pennsylvania County Historical Societies, is a network of the Commonwealth’s sixty-seven official county historical societies. Click here for our APACHS page.
Curators’ Roundtables meet informally as a means to network with peers and learn new skills. Anyone with an interest in collections, archives, conservation, or exhibition is welcome to attend. The goal of the curators’ roundtable is to foster collegial relationships, facilitate opportunities for collaborations, and to provide a forum for discussion of common issues. Meetings take place throughout the Commonwealth and are hosted by members of the group. Contact Janet MacGregor if you have an idea or would like to host a roundtable.
